Shraddha Kapoor is an Indian actress and singer known for her role in Haider, Baaghi and ABCD2. The actress is the daughter of Bollywood star Shakti Kapoor and was born on 3rd March, 1987 in Mumbai.
In her early life, Shraddha was raised in Mumbai and was in the vicinity of many current stars. Being from a family of actors, she had the knack for acting, dancing and singing from the early phase of her life and would often be seen rehearsing movie dialogues and dancing to Bollywood numbers.
She did her schooling from Jamnabai Narsee School and American School of Bombay. She studied with the likes of Tiger Shroff and Athiya Shetty and is friends with most of the young talent today in Bollywood.
In her teenage, she aspired to become a Psychologist and enrolled herself at Boston University to study majors in Psychology. However, her college journey was cut short after she dropped out in her freshman year to debut in her first movie Teen Patti.
Ever since her appearance in the film industry, she has been considered as a bright young star. She has worked in movies like Haider, Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, Baaghi and ABCD2. Her journey as an actor is well received by the public and critics alike and she is slated for her next release Half Girlfriend in which she stars opposite Arjun Kapoor.
